Landlubbers and a cat!

Well just spent a week at holiday club as Captain yo-ho. It was for 5-11 year olds and there were generally around 40 kids everyday. It was great fun but very tiring being enthusiastic for 2 1/2 hours is exhausting. There were some great comedy moments including:

Quote of the week from Poppy "Somebody sit on me quick!"

The funniest moment has to be in the leaders meeting during one of the quieter moments when one of the leaders' 2 year old son belched the loudest belch I have ever heard (and bear in mind I live(ed) with Helen, Becci and Jamie who are all good belchers), everyone just cracked up except his mum who went bright red.

The funniest game was knights, horsemen and cavaliers, seeing kids trying to pick each other up was hilarious - fortunately there were no injuries.

The best pirate voice had to go to Eleanor (who is only 3 but joined in anyway) who just said "hello" very sweetly when demonstrating hers.

Am very excited this week as we are looking after a kitten! It is sooooo cute! Unfortunately it's lost and some friends of ours have taken it in and are looking for its owners but they are away this week so we are cat sitting for them. So if you know of anyone in the Dulwich area that has lost a grey tabby kitten about 5 months old then let me know. Hopefully I'll be able to put some photos up of her soon.

Also pleased to see Palace getting off to a good start to the new season its 2-1 at the moment yay!
