My Brain!

My brain keeps leading me astray! This has been an ongoing phenomenon though thankfully only it happens on rare occasions. Today being one of those.

So on my way out of the Arts and Social Studies Library I bumped into Emma Simmonds, and during the course of our conversation she said "on your way home" so then when I left to go to the Bute Library I suddenly found myself going home instead! I had to make an embarassing U turn to go back.

I often find this phenomenon occurs while I am driving! I seem to just start driving without thinking where I'm going so my brain leads me on common routes eg to Tesco or when in London to my Grandma's house. Don't worry though it doesn't affect the safety of my driving it just takes longer to get anywhere, as invariably the way my brain takes me is the opposite way to where I should be going.

I think my stomach may have an influence - for example when I found myself looking for my flute in the fridge!
