A Strange New World
I have come to the conclusion that I have woken up in some sort of alternate Herne Hill this morning. The reasons behind this are as follows:
1. I woke up a 7:55am - now its a holiday day so this is just wrong
2. I checked my phone to see that I had received 3 new messages - a new overnight record! Luckily I had remembered to put my phone onto silent last night unlike the night before so was not rudely awakened by them arriving, unlike the night before!
3. One of the said messages appeared to call me Dave - now I realise Vickrum is actually a boy's name but I think calling me Dave is going a bit far. This strange phenomenon is however, cleared up on checking next message to find that the previous was actually meant for Dave - phew!
4. I have to take my Dad to school! - Now this to me seems a bit backwards!
It is now 9am so I will have to hope that the world corrects itself soon!
And now on to...
THE SAGA OF NEXT DOOR'S SOFA
Yesterday next door had a sofa delivered, unfortunatly no one was in hence...
Delivery man sitting down on the job (sorry forgot to rotate picture). This led to the sofas being left along their garden path. Next a strange man appears, but he doesn't have the key either so he is forced to wait outside with the sofas. On our way out for the evening we see strange man and the sofa trying to go through the door (I assume there was someone else the other side), as we walk past there is a very loud crash and the sound of broken glass - the door is smashed. On our return we see a boarded up door and two sofas (minus cushions) outside! I awoke this morning to see just the boarded up door. So either the sofas were stolen over night (which is quite likely) or they eventually managed to get them inside. We may never know the true ending of the saga of next door's sofa!
